I have 5 large breed dogs at home 3 rotts and 2 rott mixes and I seem to have a bit of a tick problem one of my younger rotts has even been tested positive for babesiosis (tick disease) but she is doing fine and she just has to get a last injection for it on the 6th…I used frontline plus on them all but some ticks can still be seen on the outer perimiter of their eyes and I also discovered clusters of these pests in their ears I used negusunt powder on the ears and it seems to be working but I digress…my questions are 1) Do all ticks spread diseases to humans? and 2)Can regular commmercial insecticide spray kill these pests?? I want to walk around my premises and spray every nook and cranny until I kill every last one of these f**kers dead!

Deer ticks (the small reddish brown ones) can spread lyme disease to humans. you will notice a bullseye type ring around the bite. and the ‘chickens’ that eat ticks are called guineas. they will help control the population.

Well one tick most ticks do becuse of the animals they bite they suck blood and they mght put back what they get so yes most tick spread stuff and two they r hard to kill so u mght kill all of them but one and if u do they will come back that is a heads up and know last but not least yes all of them can i never heard one that didn’t

No i thinks its the ones that are grey …. but there are these chickens and just get like two(there special chickens tho and i forget what there called but i’m pretty sure you can look them up on google) and they eat ticks they find them and eat them and it doesn’t bother them and probably after you stop seeing them on your doga i think its pretty safe to say that they won’t want to come back but also try to keep your lawn mowed and possibly cut down some SOME not a lot but some trees and tall plants cuz ticks like tall grass and trees

Ticks that have a disease can spread to humans- not all ticks carry a disease.- Lyme’s disease is a good example.

You should feed your dog’s brewer’s yeast on thier food- it changes thier chemistry to the extent that fleas and insects and ticks do not want to go for thier blood. You should also try adding a tablespoon of vinegar to thier water for the same reason. It will be easier to make sure that the bugs don’t bite your animals rather than try to kill insects (i mean they outlived the dinosaurs for peats sake) which can easily migrate into your property.

Frontline is strong- but just think of it-it is just a scent that is unpleasant and noxious with contact— but it isn’t like you are bathing your dog in it- so it is just that spot on his back., Plus it degrades over time.

    Good luck

Vaccination against rabies is now a legal requirement for all dog owners. Rabies can be transmitted easily to humans, and there is no cure for the disease once it is contracted. The rabies vaccine is usually given to Pit Bulls at around    .. more …

These ticks cannot fly, but settle on tall grasses and bushes until they attach themselves to a person or animal passing by.
