    April 26th, 2013Adminlyme disease rash

So my boyfriend hurt his upper arm at work (but doesn’t remember how) and it has been hurting him pretty badly. He says its like a pulled muscle X10 and he’s constantly in pain. Its slightly swollen, but not really. But, on the spot where it hurts, there’s a giant rash. We’re thinking maybe its hives from the severe pain, but not too sure. Anyone have any advice? Oh and muscle relaxers help some, but not a whole lot.

Is the rash by chance in a circle? Perhaps like a bullseye? If so, or if he only thinks he hurt it at work, could it possibly be a bite? If so, and especially if it is in a circle, look up Lyme disease. Does he have other symptoms such as bad headache, vomiting, etc? If so, then it sounds like he has been bitten by something. Look on the internet for “rash” or “hives” or “insect bites” and click on photosThe reason I am asking these questions is because pain does not cause hives; and ironically, at this very moment I have giant hives on my legs and have had them for almost 2 months. A few months before I had the circle rash, of which I took a picture of on my phone. My doctor just blew it off and said it wasn’t a Lyme Disease bullseye. However, I have since changed doctors, and there a several pictures of the bullseye rash on the internet and they don’t all look alike, and a few of them are identical to mine. I am having a test for Lyme Disease on Wednesday. Sorry for going on and on about this, but I thought it was important to share this info. Good luck to you both.

Just wonding cause I feel like I have ether a candida infection or possibly parasites or worms and I’m looking for an over the counter treatment. I am on antibiotics as well so I wonder if worms could be caused by antibiotics or lyme disease or maybe more of a dungus candida infection.I say this cause of symptoms of stool with orange in it sometimes and gerd symptoms that come and go at different times, also sometimes i feel a little feverish and think this is all a sign of possibly candida as well as worms or parasites too.Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Worms aren’t caused by anything but contact with worm eggs that have been dropped by another human, possibly on a toilet seat, which is where kids usually pick them up. They cause extreme itching, especially of the anus. There are simple remedies for them at the chemist. If you have candida there is also a remedy for that called Canestan. Ask your chemist. If you’re on antibiotics get some bio-active yoghurt to get some friendly bacteria back into your system, as antibiotics kill both useful and bad bacteria..
