A mosquito just bit me twice and I always swell up badly and get a fever ….): I’m okay usually but I’m always so scared about getting Lyme disease…What are the chances…?

Lyme disease is only transmitted by ticks so your chances of getting Lyme from a mosquito bite are 0. Your chances of getting Lyme from a tick bite vary depending on several factors, including where you live (in the northeast and upper midwest US where most cases of Lyme are found, approximately 20-30% of deer ticks may carry the infection) and how long the tick is attached (it generally takes at least 24 hours before an infected tick can transmit the disease). Be sure to use personal protective measures to reduce your chances of a tick bite. These may include using bug spray with at least 20% DEET, treating your clothing with permethrin, checking yourself for ticks, and showering soon after being outside.

I suffer from Lyme Disease and I am going to try reliv. What reliv products should I use?Can someone share their testimony Reliv and/or lyme Disease. If you could help me I would be most grateful.

I own a health and nutrition business and have taught fitness. I also answer questions about Reliv products, when I can. Your best bet is to get together with the person who is talking to you about Reliv and have them connect you directly to someone who has had results using Reliv for Lyme disease – there are numerous people who have had results with this using Reliv so it shouldn’t be hard for them to connect you. My guess is going to be at least 3 shakes per day of using Classic, Innergize and Fibrestore, but I could be wrong – just going on memory here. And we don’t prescribe or claim to heal anything. The body is the miracle. So get with a knowledgable distributor and have them connect you directly to the testimony of others who have had results with this, and they will be able to tell you what exactly they took to get those results. There are scores of people whom I have talked to in the last few years who have had results with Lymes, and all from different organizations. Chances are that whomever you are connected with won’t have any financial interest in sharing whatsoever, as the heart of Reliv distributors is to help you get results, and everybody helps each other, whether they know the people or are associated with them or not. This attitude helps to generate an additional layer of integrity and credibility to what they are sharing with you – knowing that they get absolutely nothing out of it in return. They won’t try to “sell” you – just share their own personal experience from the heart. If you have further questions you are free to email me. I would be interested to find out how you are doing with it after you have had those connections. You can also check my other posts about Reliv to find out our personal experience with it. We have had life changing results in our health using these products. Hope his helps.

Go to MDJUNCTION on internet and join the group, The leaders there have so much info.

Well, I am not sure personally, but I do know that it is cureing everything that is wrong with my body… and believe me hun, there was a lot wrong with me.

I take Reliv “Now”. I drink it every morning and evening with apple juice! It taste great! And I believe it saved my life… I litterly felt like I was dieing and did not think I would live to be 30 and I am only 19… and that is a sad thing to think.. My friend saved my life by starting me on it. I heard her story and she had been telling me to try it, but I didn’t really feel like “trying” something only to find out it doesn’t work… just like everything else I tried. So anyways, I called her one morning early and was crying in pain and said, Please, meet me somewhere! I want to try that stuff! I am in so much pain I need help! And she met me and I started right away! And I have not been in that much pain since I started! I saw results in the first month and I was crying with tears of joy by the end of the second month. Whatever you have..whatever you need…. Reliv will help. trust me!

My daughter has a mysterious rash that came from a bug bite. I’m worried that it’s Lyme disease. Do I need to take her to the ER tomorrow, or should I wait until Monday? I called today to make an appointment, but there was nothing available until Wednesday. How urgent is this?I’ve been pulling ticks off the kids and dog all day. In the last few days, the ticks have gotten bad.

If the rash is from Lyme disease, you need to get her started on a dose of antibiotics. Lyme disease can cause painful arthritis-like soreness in the joints, as well as other problems. Make sure she sees the doctor on Wednesday (or sooner if she starts feeling sick).

I believe you can take your time, as there is no cure for Lyme disease.

Not urgent at all. Lyme disease can only come from a tick. If it looks like a red circle get it checked.

If it’s a target shaped rash, it’s definitely lyme disease, which she would need antibiotics for (there is a cure, the other person is retarded). if it’s not suspiciously target shaped, I wouldn’t worry and just keep an eye on it to see if it goes away on its own.

It’s not a terribly fast progressing disease, although going before the rash disappears would help in diagnosis.

Take a photo of the rash for future reference. Also, be advised that ticks can carry other bad stuff besides Lyme disease. A tick bite is a serious concern.

I’ve had a small red ring on my chest for at least three months now. It is faint pink and about 3/4″ and clear in the center. I don’t remember getting sick or anything. Now it just developed a small red dot in the middle. Am a I being a hypochondriac? Is it expensive to get tested for Lyme disease?

The main problem isn’t the cost of the test–it’s the fact that standard lab tests for Lyme are lousy at determining whether or not you are infected. It would be good to educate yourself about Lyme, and see if you exhibit any of the many symptoms.Good sources of info about Lyme disease:http://www.lymedisease.orghttp://www.ilads.orghttp://www.canlyme.comhttp://www.lymeinfo.nethttp://www.lymediseaseassociation.orghttp://www.lymenet.orghttp://www.lymedoctor.comhttp://www.touchedbylyme.orghttp://www.facebook.com/lymedisease.org

Most veterinarians recommend beginning vaccinating your Pit Bull at around eight weeks of age, and continuing every four weeks until around eighteen weeks old. Vaccination against rabies is now a legal requirement for all dog owners. Rabies can be transmitted easily to humans, and there is no cure for the disease once it is contracted.
